Sun protection is always the final step in the skincare routine. Only make-up can be applied on top.

BABOR offers 2 different UV protection systems:

1. Mineral UV protection

Lays pleasantly soft on the skin and reflects UV radiation.

Application: Always use at the end of your skincare routine.

2. Chemical UV protection

Penetrates the uppermost layer of the skin, where it absorbs UV rays and converts them into heat or light energy.

Application: Chemical filters must penetrate the skin in order to fully develop their protective effect; therefore, only light, preferably oil-free serums and day creams should be applied beforehand.

This means that mineral UV protection can be applied over any DOCTOR BABOR product.

These care products are incredibly lightweight, and some are even oil-free. Consequently, you can apply a chemical sunscreen on top of them after they have been absorbed. Their lightweight nature ensures that the filter can effectively penetrate the skin for optimal protection.

1. Shake the ampoule and cover the neck of the ampoule with a cosmetic tissue or the enclosed ampoule opener.

2. Hold the ampoule by the neck or using the opener, and break the lower colored ring with a quick movement.

3. Pour the concentrate into the palm of your hand and apply the entire amount to the face, neck and décolleté. Gently pat into the skin.

Follow with eye cream and care cream.

KEY INGREDIENTS FOR REFINE ASSORTMENT
Vitamin C Liposomally encapsulated, as a stable ester and/or as an oil-soluble, very stable tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (THD)	- Particularly stable and optimally available & usable for the skin - Has an anti-oxidant effect, activates collagen synthesis and evens skin tone
Astaxanthin from a Microalgae	- Protects the skin as an ultra-strong radical scavenger against all damaging environmental influences and keeps it in oxidative balance

At home	Apply 1 - 2 pumps to the palm of your hand in the morning and evening and spread the balm evenly over the dry skin of the face, neck and décolleté, massaging gently until it becomes oily. Then emulsify the cleanser with moistened fingertips in a circular motion until a milky emulsion forms. Rinse off with water.
Practice	Apply the cleansing balm to the dry skin of the face, neck and décolleté, work up until it becomes oily and then emulsify thoroughly 3 times with cool water. Remove with Hydro-Therapy stimulation.

At home	Apply to the skin in the morning and/or evening after cleansing and work in. Can also be applied locally to particularly noticeable pigmentation spots. Then apply eye cream and care cream.
